Are there enough wind resources around? |

| The wind resources
above the shallow waters in the seas around Europe could theoretically
provide all of Europe's
electricity supplies several times over. In 2002 18% of Denmark’s
energy requirements were provided by wind and by 2030 the Danish Government
aims to have 50% provided this way. In the UK less than 1% is produced
by wind.
